Putting on the Ritz: WatchGuard Protects London’s Premier Hotel

The Ritz London, one of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels, needed to strengthen security and protect guests’ personal data across its network. Working with WatchGuard, the hotel deployed WatchGuard firewalls and security appliances to gain better visibility into what data was moving through the network and to enforce stricter security policies.

WatchGuard implemented a cluster of XTM Series appliances for the main internet connection, plus additional appliances for backup and voice networks, with Dimension and System Manager helping simplify monitoring and administration. The result was faster, easier, and more secure network management, stronger application and user-based control, and improved visibility into traffic and potential threats. The Ritz London said WatchGuard exceeded expectations, was cost-competitive, and provided feature-rich tools that improved efficiency for its small IT team.
