Leicestershire County Cricket Club improves 5,500-seat Wi‑Fi coverage with WatchGuard

Leicestershire County Cricket Club needed to provide fast and secure Wi-Fi for guests at their Grace Road stadium while segmenting guest access from their corporate network and blocking malicious content. To address these challenges and replace an aging solution, they partnered with their MSP and vendor WatchGuard to find a new Wi-Fi security solution.

WatchGuard implemented a solution using Firebox M370 appliances with the Total Security Suite and deployed AP420 and AP322 access points for extensive coverage. This provided LCCC with multi-layered security, content filtering via WebBlocker, and clear network segmentation. As a result, WatchGuard delivered reliable and secure Wi-Fi, with the club receiving positive feedback from supporters on the significantly improved coverage and performance.
