Crumb Rubber Manufacturers (CRM), North America’s largest crumb rubber producer, turns waste tires into feedstock for rubberized asphalt, synthetic turf infill and other products. Founded to create a reliable source of quality crumb rubber, CRM has expanded to meet global demand but faced operational scaling and tracking challenges as plants moved to near–continuous production and needed better oversight of incoming and outgoing tires.

To address this, Carolina Software installed WasteWORKS at CRM’s Ina Road tire collection facility in Pima County, giving the company a wide range of reporting and tracking options. The system improves visibility and recordkeeping to streamline processing, support 24/7 operations and help maintain CRM’s high recycling throughput (in Arizona, CRM recycles about 90% of the state’s six million annual waste tires).
