After-Hours Waste Service Helps Resort Builder Beat the Clock

WELBRO Building Corporation, a major Orlando-area general contractor, was under pressure to complete the massive Rosen Shingle Creek Resort and Convention Center on a tight deadline. To support the project, WELBRO used Waste Management’s temporary construction waste services for container pulls and debris handling.

Waste Management responded by expanding service to include night-time waste collection in addition to daytime service, increasing the number of pulls to keep construction moving. This helped WELBRO finish the 1,500-room resort and convention center on time for its September 9, 2006 grand opening, and the project owner later invited Waste Management to provide permanent commercial waste and recycling services for the resort.
