Lovin' Spoonfuls - Customer Case Study

Lovin' Spoonfuls is a Boston-based food rescue non-profit that salvages nutritious but unsellable food from grocery stores and markets and delivers it to over 140 partner agencies across nearly 40 cities, feeding roughly 30,000 people a week. Operating six refrigerated trucks, the organization needed to accurately track about 500 transactions a day without reliable Wi‑Fi, but their existing inventory system was slow, unreliable and causing field delays and staff frustration.

Lovin' Spoonfuls implemented Wasp’s InventoryCloud, which provided reliable, easy-to-use mobile tracking that works offline, plus straightforward web-based training and responsive support. The system streamlined pickup tracking for drivers, saved the organization hours each month, eliminated much of the team’s frustration, and left staff “happy to have a system that works all of the time.”
