JB Riney, a London-based civil engineering and highway services firm founded in 1978 with five locations, was managing inventory with a paper-based triplicate book and handwritten requests. This outdated process led to lost or misnamed items, illegible entries, inaccurate job costing, month-end reporting delays and misallocated stock, creating significant administrative overhead for procurement and commercial teams.
