Bunim-Murray Productions, the Emmy-winning reality TV studio behind *The Real World* and *The Challenge*, needed a way to move large amounts of footage quickly from remote shoots around the world back to its Los Angeles post-production team. With productions generating three to four terabytes of raw media per day, the company needed faster file transfer and storage that could keep up with its dispersed, high-volume workflow. Using Wasabi Technologies with Signiant, Bunim-Murray sent camera RAW footage from the field directly to Wasabi for rapid access by its editors in Los Angeles. The solution preserved the existing transfer workflow while giving the team fast, flexible, month-to-month cloud storage that could scale up and down with production demand. As a result, Bunim-Murray sped up movement of large files from remote locations, improved workflow efficiency for globally dispersed teams, and saved a fortune on daily filming costs.
