Preview of the Nebras Power IPP4 / Jordan PSC Case Study

Nebras Power IPP4 / Jordan PSC commissions 241 MW plant in 25 days with Wärtsilä Energy

The customer, Nebras Power IPP4 / Jordan PSC, faced the challenge of commissioning their IPP4 power plant for gas operation within a strict 25-day schedule to fulfil their power production agreement once natural gas became available. Wärtsilä Energy was selected to handle the full commissioning and performance testing of the plant's 16 Wärtsilä 18V50DF dual-fuel engines.

Wärtsilä Energy successfully completed the fast-track commissioning on schedule, enabling the plant to run on more profitable and environmentally friendly natural gas instead of heavy fuel oil. The solution provided full operating flexibility, allowing the customer to meet all contractual obligations and performance guarantees. Following the project, the partnership was extended with a 4-year Parts Predict agreement.
