Inur Sakato Power Plant ensures regional power with Wärtsilä’s 17.3 MW O&M agreement

The Inur Sakato Power Plant, operated by the Special Administrative Region of Oe-Cusse Ambeno, needed to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply for an entire region while optimizing the performance of its power plant. To meet this challenge, the customer entered into an Operation & Maintenance agreement with Wärtsilä Energy.

Wärtsilä Energy implemented a comprehensive O&M solution, taking full responsibility for the plant's operation and maintenance, which included constructing new fuel storage tanks. The results were a reliable energy supply to the regional grid and significant operational savings. The measurable impact includes 17.3 MW of maintained power from four Wärtsilä 34DF engines, leading to such satisfaction that the initial five-year agreement has been extended multiple times.
