The Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City, a civil rights organization, was locked into a proprietary and aging website system from a provider. This created significant administrative challenges, poor mobile usability for their community, and flawed tools for event registration, all while diverting funds from their mission. They engaged Waqa Studios to rebuild the platform.

Waqa Studios migrated the organization to a self-hosted WordPress platform, giving them full control. They designed a new website focused on usability, with improved navigation and a prominent news and events section to better showcase their work and facilitate donations and program sign-ups. The solution freed the Urban League from their previous provider, allowing them to better serve their audience and manage their website without restrictions.
