Homeserve PLC, a leading UK home assistance provider, needed a unified mobile security and management approach for a diverse fleet of smartphones and tablets running multiple OS versions and legacy MDMs. They faced inefficient device management, uncontrolled roaming data costs, and the need to strengthen mobile security as part of PCI DSS work. To address this they selected VMware AirWatch for device management and engaged Wandera for mobile data cost management and threat defense.

Wandera was trialed and rolled out across the estate via AirWatch’s zero‑touch over‑the‑air deployment, providing threat defense, intelligent data caps, content control and data anonymization for BYOD privacy. As a result Wandera helps Homeserve PLC identify and block more than 1,000 potential security incidents monthly, enforce roughly 5,000 blocks each month and deliver hundreds of GB in monthly data savings, preventing roaming overspend and tightening mobile security across the business.
