Porter Davis, an Australian residential design and building company with roughly 500–600 mobile devices, was routinely exceeding its 1.6 TB telco data pool and incurring thousands in overage charges with little visibility into who or what was using the data. After being recommended by ManageNET, Porter Davis selected Wandera (integrating with their MobileIron MDM) to extend web/email filtering and gain real‑time control and reporting for mobile without relying on a VPN.

Wandera was deployed to filter browser and app traffic, enforce policies and provide expense-management visibility. Within three months the company’s master pool usage fell from about 1.6 TB to 1.2 TB and then to 900 GB, saving “tens of thousands” of dollars; Wandera also blocked nearly 8,000 medium‑severity events in a month, blocked 124 malicious sites/month and prevented about 95 users/month from exceeding the data cap.
