Kiehl's, a skincare brand within the L'Oréal Group, faced the challenge of measuring how its digital advertising on Google Display Network and Search influenced in-store sales. The brand needed to optimize its media mix and digitize the final part of its customer funnel. To address this, they partnered with vendor Walmeric.
Walmeric implemented a solution that included an NFC system in Kiehl's physical stores and ran simultaneous search and display campaigns. This strategy successfully bridged digital campaigns with physical retail, resulting in over 1,500 in-store purchases being linked to the digital interaction. The campaign directly influenced 30% of all physical store sales and impacted 13% of all shoppers at the point of sale.
