Rotary International uses social walls to engage attendees actively and make events more exciting and interactive

Rotary Pacific Northwest, part of Rotary International, wanted a more interactive way to engage attendees at its events and help them feel like part of the experience rather than just spectators. Working with Walls.io, the organization used social walls at events such as the Zone Conference in Montreal and the Pacific NW PETS training seminar to display attendee-generated content on big screens throughout the venue.

Using Walls.io, Rotary Pacific Northwest encouraged people to post with event hashtags, share photos in real time, and engage more actively with the conference. The approach drove strong participation from 400+ attendees in Montreal and more than 800 at PETS, increased social reach beyond existing followers, and delivered measurable sponsor value through scheduled vendor ads and reporting on ad timing and frequency. Rotary also reported higher sponsor retention and planned to continue using Walls.io for future events.
