The Oregon Humane Society needed a new approach for its annual Diamond Collar Awards event to overcome virtual event fatigue and continue its mission-critical fundraising. Unable to host another virtual event or an in-person luncheon, the organization partnered with Walls.io to create a new campaign tool that would engage its community and encourage donations.
Walls.io's solution was the "Hero Wall," a social wall powered by its Direct Posts feature. This allowed community members to easily and anonymously share stories and photos of their pets. The campaign successfully generated significant user-generated content, increased engagement by making everyone feel included, and served as an effective tool to promote the awards and drive donations for the shelter.
