The customer, AMEE (An International Association for Health Professions Education), faced the challenge of creating a sense of community and bridging the gap between in-person and virtual attendees for their two large, concurrent hybrid conferences. To tackle this engagement challenge, they turned to the vendor Walls.io to implement a social wall.
Walls.io provided a social wall that aggregated user-generated content from the event hashtag #AMEE2022. This solution was embedded directly into the event's Swapcard platform and website, making it a central hub for attendee interaction. The result was a highly engaged international community of over 4,700 participants from 87 countries, which generated a valuable collage of positive experiences. The social wall was so successful that AMEE kept it embedded on their website post-conference to maintain the momentum and showcase the event's success.
