A Social Wall for a Social Responsibility Campaign at BearingPoint

BearingPoint, an international consulting company, wanted to celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a global internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign called 10 Days of Caring. The challenge was to motivate employees across 23 offices to participate voluntarily and to communicate the disparate local activities in a cohesive, engaging way both internally and externally. To do this, they employed a social media wall from Walls.io to serve as the central hub for the campaign.

Walls.io provided a flexible and cost-effective social wall solution that aggregated all campaign-related social media posts. BearingPoint embedded the wall on its intranet and public website and, most effectively, displayed it on TV screens in every office. This real-time display became the "communications heartbeat" of the campaign, driving enthusiasm and participation. The results were significant: over 2,000 employees participated in 150 activities, generating over 600 social posts, 7,500 engagements, and valuable earned media, far exceeding expectations for a campaign with a small budget.
