Policlinico di Sant’Orsola chooses WALLIX PAM4ALL to strengthen the protection of its external access and server resources

Policlinico di Sant’Orsola, a large hospital in Bologna with more than 5,000 employees and hundreds of external providers connecting remotely every day, needed to better control and monitor third‑party and internal privileged access while meeting AgID and GDPR requirements. To address the growing burden on systems engineers from standard VPN connections, the hospital evaluated and selected WALLIX and its PAM4ALL privileged access management solution.

Working with WALLIX and partner Cybertech, Policlinico di Sant’Orsola ran a POC and deployed the WALLIX PAM4ALL PAM module to centralize credential management, session logging and granular remote access control. WALLIX’s solution delivered improved control and traceability, streamlined administration for external technicians and internal teams, met regulatory requirements, and is slated to manage about 500 target servers while securing hundreds of daily external connections.
