ENGELBERT STRAUSS chooses WALLIX Bastion to secure its IT infrastructure

Engelbert Strauss, a Germany-based workwear manufacturer with 1,200 employees and 10 European offices, needed a stable, compliant and secure IT infrastructure to protect mission-critical servers and meet GDPR and German data-protection rules. Facing fragmentation from around 20 standalone identity and account-management tools, the company engaged WALLIX and tested WALLIX Bastion to centralize and professionalize privileged access management.

WALLIX implemented WALLIX Bastion as a centralized PAM solution and integrated it with the company’s SIEM; the Proof of Concept was installed and initially configured in two days followed by a multi-week trial. The deployment now manages about 80 declared servers and roughly 85 users/approvers, has high acceptance, very few support requests, enables external providers to perform maintenance securely, improves session control and traceability, and has reduced administrative overhead—delivering measurable efficiency and stronger access governance for Engelbert Strauss.
