Bank of Africa chooses WALLIX Bastion to secure access to its IT system

Bank of Africa, a multinational group operating in 18 countries with roughly 1,000 IT users and 999 critical resources, faced widespread privileged password sharing that prevented user traceability, raised risks of data theft and fraud, and made PCI‑DSS compliance difficult. To tackle secure password management, centralized access and regulatory requirements, Bank of Africa selected WALLIX and its WALLIX Bastion privileged access management solution.

WALLIX deployed WALLIX Bastion across the group's sites after a successful POC, providing a single centralized entry portal, encrypting and vaulting connection credentials inaccessible to administrators, and enabling Session Manager audit and session recordings for PCI‑DSS traceability. As a result, WALLIX helped Bank of Africa secure its critical resources, reduce the attack surface and insider risk, simplify account offboarding, enforce Just‑In‑Time access for administrators and service providers, and improve productivity and incident detection.
