Alain Afflelou Group chooses the WALLIX Bastion to gain visibility on external providers

The Alain Afflelou Group, a major European eyewear retailer, had virtualized and outsourced many business applications and begun relying on multiple external service providers. This created challenges around controlling third‑party access, protecting sensitive data, ensuring system access traceability, and maintaining fast, simple authorization processes. To address these issues the Alain Afflelou Group selected WALLIX and its Wallix AdminBastion solution.

WALLIX deployed Wallix AdminBastion (WAB) to enforce access rights, record sessions and provide full visibility over external providers across several hundred (mostly virtual) servers. The agentless WAB rollout was quick to integrate, restored fast operational responsiveness, reduced the need for constant internal supervision, and improved incident traceability and user security awareness through session replay—helping Alain Afflelou rebuild trust in its outsourcing model and secure its critical infrastructure.
