Leading Building Supplier, a Denmark-based retailer with multiple brick-and-mortar centers and a large ecommerce store, needed regular, actionable insight into competitor pricing to out-compete and keep its products ranking highly. They engaged WakeupData and used WakeupData’s Business Intelligence tools (including the web crawler and Recon automated matching) to solve this visibility and pricing challenge.
WakeupData implemented daily crawls of five competitors, dynamic product segmentation, and automated SKU/MPN matching to generate ranked price-difference reports. The competitor data is merged into the client’s shopping feed and a tailored sheet for purchasing, enabling daily bidding adjustments, immediate pricing or supplier-negotiation decisions for new products, and consistently higher product rankings versus competitors.
