Centex Auto Title, a Travis County and Texas DMV authorized automotive title and registration provider in Austin, needed a better way to deliver a standout customer experience while handling high volumes and reducing long waits. The company wanted to move beyond inefficient appointments and better manage customers who often arrived unprepared, so it turned to Waitwhile, primarily using its virtual waitlist platform.
With Waitwhile, Centex Auto Title implemented a walk-in model supported by fast digital check-in, accurate wait estimates, and paper-checking before customers entered the building. The vendor’s operational analytics also helped leadership monitor performance and improve staffing, including identifying that 30% of customers were Spanish speakers and hiring accordingly. As a result, Centex now serves about 1,600 customers per month, cut wait times by 45% quarter over quarter, and became one of the highest-volume title providers in its county.
