PizzaExpress, a hospitality company with around 8,000 employees, wanted to make financial wellbeing a stronger part of its overall people strategy. With a workforce split across monthly and four-weekly pay schedules, the company needed a way to help team members better manage their money and navigate pay timing challenges, so it turned to Wagestream and its financial wellbeing platform.

Wagestream implemented a flexible package including Flexible Pay, Track, Benefits Checker, Savings, Financial Coach and Discounts. The rollout was smooth and well tailored to PizzaExpress’s needs, and the results were strong: over 70% of team members signed up, more than 3,000 completed financial health assessments, and over 50% said they could budget and manage money better. PizzaExpress also reported positive engagement feedback, with employees describing Wagestream as a “lifesaver.”
