Railinc, a nationwide rail industry communications and data services provider, needed a better way to manage sales and customer information without relying on multiple disconnected systems like Marketo, XSalerator, spreadsheets, and separate databases. To scale more effectively and improve lead handling, Railinc chose SugarCRM and brought in W-Systems to help evaluate, design, and implement the new CRM environment.

W-Systems migrated Railinc’s data into SugarCRM, integrated it with Railinc’s MDM system, and helped unify accounts, contacts, committees, and reporting in one platform. The result was faster response times, increased lead flow, better reporting and forecasting, remote access for users, and a more efficient sales process, with the sales team estimating they saved at least five hours per month.
