The Home Depot - Customer Case Study

The Home Depot, a leading home improvement retailer, faced lost sales and a disrupted checkout experience because roughly one-third of customers didn’t qualify for its store-branded credit card. To preserve a fast, simple checkout and offer more consumer-friendly financing without burdening associates, The Home Depot partnered with Vyze and deployed Vyze Point-of-Sale to expand affordable credit options at the register.

Vyze assessed The Home Depot’s customers, introduced multiple lending partners, and provided API integration to the POS; The Home Depot selected three revolving lenders from the Vyze Lender Network. When a customer is declined for the store card, Vyze automatically prescreens them for alternative offers, lets them accept on the card signature pad in under a minute, and enables instant completion of the purchase. The Vyze solution produced strong results: 84% of declined customers received a credit offer, incremental revenue rose 80%, and repeat sales account for over 75% of total sales.
