The NATIONAL HOME IMPROVEMENT RETAILER, a national chain with over $80B in revenue and more than 1,900 U.S. stores, faced lost sales and eroding loyalty because roughly one-third of customers were declined its store-branded credit card at checkout. To recover conversions without complicating the point-of-sale experience, the retailer selected Vyze to expand point-of-sale financing options and improve approvals through a single, fast application.
Vyze integrated its platform with the retailer’s POS to prescreen customers declined for the primary card, match them to multiple lenders from a single application, and route approvals instantly at the register. The program added three revolving credit providers and delivered measurable gains: more than 95,000 incremental transactions accounting for over $35M in new revenue, program finance volume nearing $36M with $19M in repeat finance, repeat transactions up 191% (27,135 to 79,059), and 80% of financed sales incremental—demonstrating clear increases in approvals, sales, and customer loyalty through Vyze.
