Foundr Magazine, a leading digital publication for entrepreneurs, needed to rapidly grow its email list to promote its new eCommerce course, Grow & Scale. To accelerate acquisition and engagement they partnered with VYPER and ran a viral contest using VYPER’s contest platform.
VYPER implemented a customizable viral giveaway (leveraging features like custom reward actions, reward tiers and an easy WYSIWYG editor) that seeded sign-ups from Foundr’s list and amplified sharing on social channels. The campaign generated 13,602+ emails in 10 days—roughly 2x their acquisition goal—and produced strong engagement metrics (507 comments on a paid Facebook ad, ~1,000 new YouTube subscribers, 19k Facebook views and 232 video shares) while also increasing social followers and site traffic.
