Western Union, a global payments leader with more than 10,000 employees and contractors across 200 countries, needed to roll out Skype for Business and Office 365 with a strong focus on video to cut travel and boost productivity. However, its legacy video hardware was not compatible, network and bandwidth were limited, and support was already being handled manually by a small “white glove” team. Vyopta helped Western Union tackle these collaboration challenges with its vAnalytics monitoring platform alongside a Pexip-based deployment.
With Vyopta, Western Union’s 3-person team gained visibility into more than 80 Pexip server instances, 175 video rooms, and 10,000 software users, allowing them to manage thousands of calls per month and support over 3 million video minutes monthly. The company reported 10x collaboration adoption, reduced travel, improved productivity, and faster reporting—custom quarterly reports that once took five hours now take only minutes.
