The Leading Australian University, a top 2% global institution with around 50,000 students across six campuses in South East Queensland, Australia, needed a better way to manage a wide range of student cases, including complaints, appeals, concerns, and harassment reports. Before the change, these cases were handled through emails, paper, spreadsheets, and other systems, making the process slow, burdensome, and difficult to track. Vuram was brought in to help replace this manual approach with a more intelligent case management solution.
Vuram built an Appian case management application that streamlined end-to-end case capture, tracking, investigation, approvals, and resolution, while also integrating with external systems to keep staff and role data in sync. The result was faster case handling, improved transparency, reduced manual effort, and better reporting for 1,000s of cases. Vuram delivered the solution in six months and continues to support it with health checks and enhancements.
