Gramicci, a lifestyle outdoor clothing brand, needed to translate its performance-and-style appeal into a high-converting online experience that meets rising shopper expectations for personalized, channel-specific shopping. To solve this, Gramicci partnered with Vue.ai and implemented Vue.ai’s AI-powered personalization and recommendation suite beginning in July 2020.
Vue.ai built and iterated recommendation strategies across desktop and mobile (including a grid-view mobile layout), placing modules like Recently Viewed and Similar Products sitewide. The results included an increase in Vue.ai’s direct revenue contribution from 12.9% (Nov 2020) to 15.4% (Mar 2021), 15.4% direct and 26% assisted attribution overall, a 3.5x uplift in mobile revenue contribution, 35% uplift in sitewide conversion rate, and significant CTR improvements (Recently Viewed CTR from 1.21% to 6.02% — 5x; Similar Products revenue contribution up 3.5x) thanks to Vue.ai’s recommendations.
