Global Resale Marketplace Company, one of the world’s largest resale marketplaces, wanted to keep shoppers engaged off-site and ensure they could find alternatives when first choices weren’t available. They engaged Vue.ai, which already powered personalized on-site recommendations, to test real-time, 1:1 personalized product recommendations delivered via email.

Vue.ai ran an A/B test comparing personalized email recommendations to non-personalized (trending) ones and users with insufficient history. Emails with Vue.ai’s personalized recos drove a 53% uplift in CTOR and a 62% improvement in engagement rate (personalized CTR/open 2.7% vs trending 1.7%; engagement 2.1% vs 1.3%), helped generate 5% of the company’s overall revenue, directed 5% of site visitors from email, and led to 1.1M product discoveries during the test period.
