MowGreen is a carbon-neutral lawn and yard care company in Fairfield, CT, founded in 2007 to reduce the noise and pollution of gasoline-powered equipment by using manual labor and solar-charged battery tools. Rapid growth strained its ad hoc systems—Gmail, GnuCash and Constant Contact—leaving the business with limited web-based collaboration, weak inventory/service billing, costly email campaigns and fragmented customer relationship management.
In March 2015 MowGreen implemented Vtiger CRM On Demand, importing contacts and campaign data, setting up inventory and services, and using quotes, sales orders, invoices and built-in email marketing. The quick rollout (ready for the April season) plus Vtiger support automated subscription invoicing, payments and collections, delivering a 20% increase in sales and profit, consolidated business processes and improved visibility into deals and operations.
