VSee Philippines Medical Mission Telemedicine Helps Orphans and Street Kids Fly

Gala Shelter, an orphanage in Angono, Rizal caring for about 20 children, faced limited local access to medical specialists for routine screenings. VSee deployed its telemedicine solution — using telemedicine kits and its Cloud Clinic platform — to bring remote clinical expertise to the children and other vulnerable street-kid populations during a medical mission.

VSee set up two health screening camps (July 14 and 16), with a volunteer nurse on-site and two remote doctors (a pediatrician and an internist) connected via VSee’s Cloud Clinic to live-stream skin, eye and other exams. The effort screened about 35 people, improving timely access to specialist care and demonstrating VSee’s Cloud Clinic and telemedicine kits as a scalable telemedicine and EMR solution for developing countries.
