VSee Empowers Children’s Voices Around the World

KidStar Radio, an all kid-run radio station that has been empowering children for 27 years, needed a way to deliver the same hands-on, face-to-face mentoring to kids around the world while keeping sessions secure and accessible where Internet bandwidth is limited. They selected VSee for its simple design, low-bandwidth video conferencing, and built-in document and screen sharing that better matched their classroom-style coaching than Skype or Google Hangouts.

VSee implemented low-bandwidth video calls with easy screen/document sharing and more-controlled meeting access, letting staff demo tasks live and watch students perform them remotely. The result: improved security (avoiding uninvited guests in calls), a much smaller digital footprint (reported as nearly 50% of Skype) and markedly better multi-party call reliability (staff called it “100% better”), enabling KidStar Radio to expand its program across the U.S. and overseas and give more children the same face-to-face experience.
