A VSee Case Study
The Conference Board is a non-profit business research organization serving 1,600 member companies (including nearly half of the Fortune 500) and producing hundreds of conferences, seminars and webcasts each year. Coordinating roughly 200 employees at its New York headquarters plus 70 more across 30+ cities was a challenge, so The Conference Board deployed VSee — equipping twelve conference rooms (nine in New York, one each in Brussels, Beijing and Hong Kong) with Sony EVI-D30 PTZ cameras and installing VSee on 21 individual desktops for both scheduled meetings and ad-hoc conversations. Application sharing was especially useful for training remote staff and reviewing budgets.
VSee’s solution — combining video, application sharing and its “virtual office” network and UI technology — enabled always-on links (including a live link the CEO uses between New York and his weekend home in Boston) and made remote participants far more engaged. The VSee deployment (12 rooms + 21 desktops) improved coordination across offices, streamlined training and collaboration, and reduced the difficulty of engaging distributed team members — a benefit underscored when staff noted a London attendee was noticeably less engaged when not on VSee video.
