VROC ingested a year's worth of historical data and processed it in just 90 minutes, which was 2,000 times faster than the traditional analysis. Its solution not only validated the engineers' findings but also identified an additional root cause: the equipment was being operated in the incorrect mode. As a result, Petronas prolonged the gas compressor's reliability from two weeks to four months and achieved an estimated $21.7 million in savings from improved uptime.
