A VROC Case Study
The City of Bunbury sought to enhance its central business district with decorative lighting at eight key locations to create a more vibrant atmosphere and support public campaigns. As part of its digital transformation, the city wanted a solution that would provide improved control, efficiency, and sustainability for this new initiative. They engaged vendor VROC to address this challenge.
VROC implemented its OASIS remote control platform, which the city was already using for other infrastructure, to monitor, schedule, and control the new lighting systems. The solution allowed for automated lighting sequences integrated with city events and provided live condition monitoring. As a result, the project was well-received by the community, enhanced city living, and won second place in a national public awareness lighting competition. The City of Bunbury also achieved improved operational efficiencies and now plans to connect more infrastructure using the VROC platform.
