A VR Vision Case Study
Toyota Material Handling, a manufacturer of forklifts and other material handling solutions, sought a more efficient and cost-effective method to train its widespread network of dealer technicians. The company partnered with vendor VR Vision to leverage virtual reality technology, moving beyond traditional in-person training that required significant travel and resources.
VR Vision developed a suite of interactive VR training simulations featuring digital twins of Toyota's vehicles, including AI-guided procedures and a collaborative multiplayer environment. This solution allowed technicians to train remotely using Meta Quest 2 headsets. The implementation by VR Vision provided Toyota Material Handling with a highly accessible training alternative, successfully reducing the reliance on travel and the need for physical training vehicles and on-site instructors, thereby lowering overall training costs.
