Canada’s Ocean Supercluster advances AROWIND with Voyis in a $29M offshore wind project

Canada’s Ocean Supercluster sought to develop a more cost-effective and safer method for performing subsea inspections of offshore wind farms. The challenge was to reduce the high vessel costs and the number of personnel required for these operations in a hazardous environment.

Voyis provided its Discovery Stereo Inspection Series camera as the core inspection sensor for an uncrewed surface vessel solution. This technology delivered high-fidelity datasets, including still images, video, and millimetric-resolution 3D models, in real-time. The solution from Voyis significantly lowered operational costs and environmental impact by enabling remote, autonomous inspections, providing a foundation for predictive maintenance and asset management.
