Informa worked with Voyage Control to address traffic congestion and confusion during build and break-down phases at Vitafoods Europe, along with limited visibility into vehicle arrivals and delivery timing. The event needed a better way to manage site access, prioritise deliveries, and understand when exhibitors and contractors would arrive on-site.

Voyage Control implemented a real-time delivery scheduling platform, supported by a cloud-based app and web portal for improved check-in and delivery management. The solution helped reduce wait times and traffic queues, while giving Informa better visibility into peak periods and staffing needs. Measurable results included a 26% reduction in traffic despite event growth, on-time arrivals increasing by 6.5%, and total distance/carbon emissions nearly halving from 81 tonnes to 43 tonnes.
