Kicks leap of faith removes heavy lifting of online merchandising

Kicks, a leading Nordic beauty retailer, faced the challenge of relying on manual, time-intensive online merchandising. They sought to test whether an AI-powered solution could create a smoother customer journey and improve commercial results compared to their manual approach. They partnered with Voyado and its Elevate product to conduct this experiment.

Voyado implemented its AI and machine learning platform, Elevate, to fully automate the merchandising of a homepage. The results from an A/B test were significant: the automated version generated an 8x higher click-through rate, 8x more add-to-baskets, and 100x more sales transactions than the manually curated version. Due to the overwhelming success, Kicks completely abandoned the manual approach and handed sales generation over to Voyado's automated solution.
