Bygghemma, the DIY division of the Bygghemma Group, faced the challenge of adapting to rapidly changing customer trends and seasonal demands in the Nordic DIY retail market. Manually managing product placement and promotions was a significant workload and made it difficult to quickly present the most relevant products, such as deciding whether to feature lawn mowers or snow blowers during unpredictable autumn weather. They partnered with Voyado to find an automated solution using the Voyado Elevate platform.

Voyado implemented a solution utilizing machine learning through its Elevate product to automatically optimize site-wide product exposure based on real-time customer browsing behavior and trends. This AI-driven approach replaced manual rules, allowing the site to instantly promote the most relevant products. The results included a peak profit increase of up to 12% and an average profit increase of 6.2% compared to previous strategies. The migration to Voyado Cloud also provided 100% availability during high-traffic events like Black Friday.
