Syrian Refugees in Lebanon Discover New Opportunities from Voxy, Jusoor Partnership

Jusoor, a U.S.-based NGO supporting Syrian youth in Lebanon, faced a major challenge in providing high-quality English instruction to displaced students seeking better academic and career opportunities. To address the need, Jusoor partnered with Voxy and used its immersive English language learning platform to support beginning and intermediate learners.

Voxy implemented a personalized digital learning pilot for 200 refugee students over three months, delivering dynamic content and language practice despite low internet connectivity. The results were strong: 96% of students stayed engaged, learners completed more than 58,000 activities, and they studied 112% more time than required, with both students and administrators reporting positive feedback on Voxy’s impact.
