Case Study: Belron achieves 20% productivity increase and 99.95% accuracy with Voxware VMS

A Voxware Case Study

Preview of the Belron Case Study

Belron - Customer Case Study

Belron, the world’s largest dedicated vehicle glass repair and replacement company (serving about 1.5 million motorists annually in the UK), faced a distribution challenge at its Laddaw centre: windscreens must be picked in strict sequences to fit specialised containers, and RF scanners forced pickers to repeatedly holster devices, slowing work and risking errors. To boost speed, accuracy and support rapid growth, Belron chose Voxware and its Voxware VMS voice-directed order picking solution.

Voxware implemented Voxware VMS Order Picking with configurable extensions that translate Belron’s Oracle-based orders into correctly sequenced, voice-directed pick tasks (using Honeywell HX3 voice-only wearables), enabling fully hands‑free operation. The Voxware solution shortened pick paths, reduced rework and operating costs, and delivered measurable results — a 20% increase in productivity and a 99.95% accuracy rate — while supporting Belron’s service and growth objectives.
