Wolf Trap Foundation for The Performing Arts

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, a Vienna, VA–based 501(c)(3) that produces performances and education programs, hosts the annual Wolf Trap Ball for more than 800 guests on the Filene Center stage to raise over $1M for early-childhood arts education. The foundation’s five-person Special Events team found two-way radios cumbersome—especially during a black-tie event—and often ended up juggling radios and smartphones or relying on texts, which made coordinating across the large venue and during setup inefficient.

The team switched to Voxer Business, using group and private chats plus voice, photo and text messaging from a single device to coordinate staff and caterers before and during the Ball. Voxer’s reliable service eliminated extra calls and searches, enabled discreet updates during speeches, and let staff quickly resolve seating and catering issues so guests weren’t delayed—delivering a smoother event experience and prompting the team to adopt Voxer for future events.
