Optimizing Listener Data Collection via Centralized, Automated Phone Interviewing

Médiamétrie, France’s leading audience measurement organization, faced a scalability and efficiency problem in its radio research program: conducting 1,500,000 interviews a year and running continuous IVR tests of 40 musical excerpts required qualifying respondents by phone then handing them off to a separate IVR system. Using two different platforms forced duplicate questionnaire creation, split databases, and an underpowered dialer, so Médiamétrie partnered with Voxco to centralize and automate its phone interviewing workflow.

Voxco implemented its Multi-Mode platform—combining Voxco Dialer, Voxco CATI and Voxco IVR—so Médiamétrie could build questionnaires once, store data centrally, and seamlessly transfer respondents from CATI to IVR. The Voxco solution boosted operational efficiency and call throughput to an average of 1,500 CATI calls per hour (25 per minute), significantly increasing annual productivity and simplifying management of thousands of songs.
