M&M's Canada, part of Mars, needed a way to run frequent, targeted social promotions while preserving tight brand control and a single approval workflow across English and French audiences. The challenge was to organize multiple campaigns that could be customized for different goals without sacrificing consistency or oversight.
Using Votigo’s Social Marketing Suite, M&M's launched customizable social apps and templates, built a custom engagement tab with links to five holiday gingerbread templates, and used analytics to monitor performance. The platform enabled frequent, targeted campaigns—one sweepstakes ("We're Hiring M&M's Spokes Candies") added 2,987 fans and 72 templates were downloaded in six weeks—while maintaining brand control and bilingual support.
