A Votigo Case Study
GORE-TEX wanted to engage its Facebook fans with a brand-focused contest that was easy to enter and highly shareable. The challenge was to let participants submit stories, photos or videos, and to encourage browsing and voting so the best entries would rise to the top.
Votigo built a custom Facebook app with multi-format uploads, a browsable gallery, voting and viral sharing tools; the promotion awarded a GORE-TEX gear package, with the people’s choice selecting 10 finalists and three expert judges choosing the grand prize winner. In four weeks the campaign generated 6,254 visits and 15,170 page views.
