Colombia Compra Eficiente, the government agency responsible for Colombia's national public procurement system, faced the challenge of modernizing its procedures. Vortal, in a consortium with Tecnocom, won an international tender to implement the new SECOP II platform. The solution was prized for its functionality and compliance capabilities. Vortal successfully launched the new system in under a year. The results showed massive growth, with the platform's usage increasing from approximately 157,000 processes in 2015 to over 1.8 million by 2017.
